Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy of Bariatric Istanbul

This agreement and policy has been prepared for the settlement of disputes that may arise between persons who have accepted to receive services and services from Bariatric Istanbul and who have made their pre-booking and Bariatric Istanbul and Bariatric Istanbul's group of companies.

Responsibilities of Bariatric Istanbul

  • Bariatric Istanbul and the companies and persons affiliated with Bariatric Istanbul are obliged to explain all information and risks to the person who wants to receive treatment.
  • Bariatric Istanbul is obliged to make the organisation and planning that the person who wants to receive treatment will need within the scope of health tourism in Turkey.
  • Bariatric Istanbul is responsible for hospital planning and doctor planning of the person who will receive treatment.
  • Bariatric Istanbul will not make pricing other than the package offered to the person who wants to receive treatment and must obtain verbal or written consent from the person who will receive treatment for extra costs and consultations that will arise during the procedure.
  • Since Bariatric Istanbul will use the down payment received during pre-booking for reservations and planning, it declares that it will not refund the down payment in case of any cancellation.
  • Bariatric Istanbul declares that it will refund the remaining amount after deducting the expense items in the operation cancelled for any reason.
  • If this amount is more than the amount paid by the person who wants to receive treatment, the difference can be invoiced and collected by the person to receive treatment.

Responsibilities of Who wants to Receive Treatment (Patient)

  • The person who will receive treatment knows and accepts that there is a 6-month validity period for the operation after paying the down payment to Bariatric Istanbul.
  • If the person who will receive treatment does not set a date for the operation within 6 months for the operation after paying the down payment to Bariatric Istanbul; accepts and declares that he / she cannot receive a refund in case of cancellation.
  • If the person who will receive treatment determines a date other than the 6-month validity period after paying the down payment to Bariatric Istanbul; Bariatric Istanbul accepts and declares that it will be invoiced at current operation prices.
  • If the person who will receive treatment is not suitable for the operation due to his/her own health condition or receives a 'not suitable for the operation' note from the physician committee; he/she accepts and declares that he/she will receive the remaining amount after deducting all hospital examinations, hospital accommodation and consultation expenses, local transfer, medicine, consumables, tax expenses.
  • If the person to be treated is not suitable for the operation due to his/her own health condition or if he/she receives a 'not suitable for the operation' report from the physician committee; he/she accepts and declares that he/she will cover all the costs incurred without objection and will not create any dispute with Bariatric Istanbul.
  • In case of cancellation due to the person to be treated; Bariatric Istanbul agrees to refund the remaining amount after expenses.
  • The person to be treated accepts as of the moment of receipt of the Bariatric Istanbul Confirmation Letter that he / she will not request charge-back, cancellation and refund regarding the down payment paid.
  • In case of a possible refund request, the victimisation of Bariatric Istanbul will be deducted from the total refund amount of the person who will receive treatment.
